Terms of Service
Effective date: October 1, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and B-Telecom LLC, an Oregon limited liability company registered to do business in Texas and doing business as "PS" ("PS," "we," "us," or "our"), located in Midlothian, Texas 76065. These Terms apply to the PS mobile app and the PS website (together, the "Service"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we protect it. It is part of these Terms, and we encourage you to read it.
2. Adults Only (18 and Over)
You must be at least 18 years old to use PS. Stories on PS may involve mature, difficult, or emotionally intense subject matter, so PS is for adults only. By using the Service, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We may rely on age information provided by Apple or Google, and we may block access for anyone we learn is under 18.
3. What PS Is
PS lets people write about things that have happened to them and release those stories, after automated processing to remove identifying details, into a public feed for others to read. Writing and releasing a story does not require an account, a name, or a login.
4. Reading on PS: Subscriptions
4.1 Free trial and automatic renewal
Reading stories on PS requires an active subscription. New subscribers receive a 3-day free trial with full access. A valid payment method is required to start the trial, but you will not be charged during the trial.
You may choose a monthly subscription at $4.99 per month or a yearly subscription at $54 per year, plus any applicable tax. Unless you cancel before your free trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged for the plan you chose. Your subscription will then renew automatically at the end of each month (monthly plan) or each year (yearly plan), and you will be charged the same amount each time, until you cancel.
Before you start your trial, we will show you these terms and ask you to agree to them. We will send or display a confirmation of your subscription terms and how to cancel.
4.2 How to cancel
You can cancel at any time, and cancelling is as easy as signing up:
- If you subscribed through Apple: open your device's Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then PS, and choose Cancel Subscription.
- If you subscribed through Google Play: open the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then PS, and choose Cancel.
- If you subscribed on our website: use the cancellation link on our website, or email ps.support@btelecomllc.com.
To avoid being charged, cancel at least 24 hours before your trial or current billing period ends. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again.
4.3 Refunds
Amounts already charged are generally not refunded, except as required by law or by Apple's or Google's refund policies. Refund requests for purchases made through Apple or Google must be made to them directly.
4.4 Price changes
If we ever change the subscription price, we will notify you in advance, as required by law, and give you the chance to cancel before the new price applies. Where the law or Apple's or Google's rules require it, we will ask you to agree to the new price before you are charged.
4.5 Free reading for writers (limited-time offer)
For a limited time, when you release a story, the device you released it from receives 2 days of free access to read stories on PS. Releasing another story starts a new 2-day period from that moment. This free reading does not require a payment method, does not start a subscription or free trial, and does not renew. When it ends, reading again requires a subscription (including the free trial, if you have not used it).
The free reading period is saved only on your device. It is never sent to PS, so it is not linked to you or to the story you released. It does not carry over to another device and may be lost if you delete the App. Stories released to get free reading must still follow these Terms. We may change or end this offer at any time; ending it will not shorten a free reading period that has already started.
5. Writing on PS: Your Story and PS's Rights
5.1 Your original story
Your experiences and your original story belong to you. You are always free to tell your own story anywhere else, in any form, at any time. PS never keeps a copy of your original, unedited story.
5.2 The anonymized version
Before you release a story, the App asks you to confirm that you understand all identifying information will be replaced before your story is released, and tells you that by releasing, you agree to these Terms.
When you tap Release, you give PS full, worldwide, royalty-free, permanent, and irrevocable rights to the anonymized version of your story. This means PS may use the anonymized version in any way, in any format, now known or created later, without payment to you. For example, PS may display, copy, edit, adapt, publish, and distribute it; include it in collections, books, audio, film, or other projects; and license, sell, or transfer these rights to others. PS is not required to use your story in any of these ways. These rights continue even if you stop using PS, and they may transfer to a new owner if PS's business is sold or transferred.
These rights cover only the anonymized version. Your original story and your own experiences remain yours, as described in Section 5.1. Anyone PS works with on released stories must agree never to try to identify the writer or anyone described in them, and PS never shares original, unedited stories, because they are never saved.
Because names, places, dates, ages, and other details are changed during anonymization, released stories are not factual accounts of any identifiable person or event. Any resemblance of a released story to a real, identifiable person or event is coincidental.
5.3 Released stories are permanent
Because released stories are not linked to any account or identity, PS usually has no way to find or remove a specific story at a writer's request. Please do not release anything you are not prepared to have permanently and publicly released.
Our anonymization process is automated and carefully built, but it may not catch every identifying detail in every sentence. Do not include information about yourself or anyone else that you would not be comfortable becoming public, even after this process runs.
5.4 Your promises about what you write
By releasing a story, you confirm that it is your own writing and that it does not copy someone else's copyrighted work.
6. Boosting a Story
If you write a story, you may choose to pay to Boost it, which increases its visibility in the feed for the number of days you choose: 1 day for $0.99, 3 days for $2.99, 7 days for $5.99, or 14 days for $9.99, plus any applicable tax. The price is shown before you confirm. A Boost is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and does not renew. Boost purchases are processed by Apple, Google, or our website's payment processor and are non-refundable once applied, except as required by law or by Apple's or Google's refund policies.
7. Supporting PS
If you would like to support PS directly, you may make a one-time support payment of $1 to $100. This is separate from a subscription and from Boosting a story, and it does not renew. Support payments are processed by Apple, Google, or our website's payment processor and are non-refundable once processed, except as required by law or by Apple's or Google's refund policies. PS is a for-profit business, not a registered charity, so support payments are not tax-deductible.
8. What You Can Share, and the Few Things You Can't
PS exists so you can write about what's weighing on you, without judgment and without having to soften it. That includes things that are painful, shameful, ugly, or hard to say out loud: abuse, addiction, an affair, a crime committed against you, a mistake you made, or resentment toward someone who hurt you. None of that is off-limits here. That is the entire point of PS, and nothing in this section is meant to narrow it.
This includes writing about something that happened to you as a minor, and writing about something you yourself did as a minor. Both are fully permitted. What matters is that you are an adult telling your own history now.
There is a short, narrow list of exceptions. They exist not because a subject is heavy, but because a few things are illegal for any platform to host, or would turn PS into a tool for hurting a specific real person. You agree not to post content that:
- Gives specific instructions, means, or materials for carrying out illegal acts (for example, how to build a weapon or make drugs). Describing your own past experience with illegal activity is not restricted.
- Includes enough identifying detail about another real person, beyond what our anonymization process would catch, that a reader could reasonably find or identify them, where the purpose is to expose or target that person rather than to tell your own story
- Contains a credible, specific threat of violence against an identifiable person
- Is sexually explicit content involving minors, in any form. This is a legal requirement for every platform, not a PS policy choice. We report any such content to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and law enforcement, as federal law requires.
- Is written to harass, threaten, or incite hatred against a specific person or group, as opposed to describing your own experience of being harmed
- Impersonates another real person or organization
- Copies someone else's copyrighted work without permission
- Is spam or unrelated advertising
We may remove content that violates these Terms. Because PS is anonymous, our ability to review content is limited and mostly responds to reports. You can report a story using the report option in the App or by emailing ps.support@btelecomllc.com.
9. Copyright Complaints
We respect copyright. If you believe a story on PS copies your copyrighted work, send a notice to our designated copyright agent, registered with the U.S. Copyright Office (DMCA-1082161): Copyright Agent, B-Telecom LLC, 3009 Glenbrook Dr, Midlothian, TX 76065-7603; phone (971) 430-5390; email ps.support@btelecomllc.com. Your notice must include: your name and contact information; a description of the copyrighted work; enough information for us to find the story on PS; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We will remove content that infringes copyright, as required by law.
10. Sensitive and Crisis-Related Content
PS may show a supportive check-in prompt in response to certain language associated with present-tense crisis or self-harm. This prompt only offers support resources. Nothing is saved, and no person reviews your writing. It is not a crisis hotline, is not staffed by licensed professionals, and must never be relied on in an emergency. If you are in crisis, please contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988 in the United States) or your local emergency services right away.
Stories on PS are written by other people. They are not professional, medical, legal, or mental health advice.
11. PS's Name, Logo, and Design
The PS name, logo, and design of the Service belong to B-Telecom LLC. Except for the rights described in Section 5, nothing in these Terms gives you rights to PS's branding, design, or technology. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the App for its intended purpose, in line with these Terms.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OUR ANONYMIZATION PROCESS WILL CATCH EVERY IDENTIFYING DETAIL IN EVERY STORY. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THESE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, B-TELECOM LLC AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING DAMAGES RELATED TO CONTENT YOU SUBMIT OR READ. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE OR $100. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS ANY RIGHT YOU HAVE UNDER LAW THAT CANNOT BE WAIVED.
14. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to cover any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that others bring against B-Telecom LLC because you broke these Terms or because of content you released through the Service.
15. Ending Your Use of PS
You may stop using PS at any time. Because no account is required, there is nothing further to delete beyond cancelling any active subscription, as described in Section 4.2. We may suspend or end access to the Service for anyone who breaks these Terms, or if we stop offering the Service. If we stop offering the Service, we will end all subscriptions and stop future charges.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, except where the law of your state gives you the right to bring a claim where you live. Nothing in these Terms takes away consumer protections that your state's law gives you and that cannot be waived.
17. App Store Terms
If you downloaded PS from Apple's App Store or Google Play, you also agree to that store's terms. These Terms are between you and B-Telecom LLC only, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App or its content, have no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it, and are not responsible for any claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property claims. If the App fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not on any U.S. government list of restricted parties.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and give notice in the App and on our website before the changes take effect. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. Changes to subscription prices follow Section 4.4.
19. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and PS about the Service.
20. Contact Us
